The University Vice-President Chen Xiaolong went to Taiwan and Macao for an 8-day visit accompanied by staff from related departments from February 23rd to March 2nd.

Chen Xiaolong led the delegation to visit Chung Hua University, Tsinghua University, Tamkang University, National Taiwan University, Feng Chia University and Sun Yat-sen University respectively and met with the leaders of these universities for carrying on the inter-university cooperation. Meanwhile, they visited the exchange student from Tongji in Sun Yat-sen University and Feng Chia University and were interviewed and reported by a dozen media.

Chen Xiaoolong signed the agreement of inter-university cooperation and exchange students with Sun Yat-sen University and Tamkang University determining to conduct academic communication and exchange students for one semester between the two sides.

In Taiwan, Chen Xiaolong visited Ruentex Group upon invitation. He visited and observed the whole processes including research, development of prefabricated parts and practical application. Chen held a discussion with Mr. Yin Yanling Chairman of Ruentex Group and Administrative Secretary of Bright China Foundation.

In Macao, Chen Xiaolong met with university President Zhao Wei and university Vice-President Li Rilong and visited Institute of Chinese Medical Sciences. They exchanged ideas on university planning and construction as well as development direction. Meanwhile, they discussed and reached an agreement on cooperative cultivating students.
