On the afternoon of January 1st, Chen Xiaolong, Vice-president of Tongji University met with Prof. Wiedemann, Director of Wind Tunnel Center, University Stuttgart.

During the meeting, Chen said that the wind tunnel center project of Shanghai Ground Transportation had basically completed and to put it into service as soon as possible was the task of next stage. He expressed thanks to Prof. Wiedemann for his substantial support to this project from 2004 and indicated we would consult him some questions on the operation of the wind tunnel.

As consultant of the wind tunnel center project, Prof. Wiedemann has wide experience on operation and management of wind tunnel. He expressed thanks to Tongji for our full trust and came to the wind tunnel center twice a year to provide technical support and consulting service out of great concern of this project. As Director of Wind Tunnel Center, University Stuttgart, he believed Tongji University now possessed the most advanced wind tunnel equipments of the world. To accomplish debugging of the wind tunnel center in a short time and to put it into use were the key points at present. Then the next step could be formulating a efficient management system and to provide best service for corporate clients. He expressed University Stuttgart would continue the cooperation with Tongji.
