On the afternoon of November 14th, the University President Pei Gang signed the double diplomas (master of Tongji University and diplome d'ingenieur in France) cooperative agreement with Dr. Philippe Courtier, President of Ecole Nationale des Ponts et Chaussees (ENPC, now named Ecole de Ponts-Paris Tech). Zhou Zuyi, the Vice-Secretary of the University Party Committee and University Vice-President presided over the signing ceremony. Cyrille Van Effenterre, President of Paris Tech and Dong Qi, the University President Assistant were present at the ceremony.
It was known that, this cooperative project was the first one that ENPC issued the diplome d'ingenieur. The two parties would consolidate the cooperative partnership through the cooperation on the doctor’s level.
