Now, the training program of traditional Chinese medicine (TCM) masters’ inheritors has completely started, which is approved by State Administration of Traditional Chinese Medicine (SATCM) as a test program of National TCM inheritance. A special office was settled at Tongji University and undertaken by the Institute of TCM. This program is combined with important research projects of Ministry of Education, the key supervisor team of which consists of Professor Yan Dexin, Professor Deng Tietao, Professor Lu Zhizheng, Professor Zhu Liangchun, Professor Zhou Zhongying and Professor Zhang QI. President Pei Gang took up the post of the steering group leader.

This program is presently in the phase of enrolling and was actively responded by many young and mid-aged TCM key personnel from many provinces and cities of China. They enrolled eagerly and most of them had doctorate degree and many years’ clinical experience. They are very fond of TCM, young and energetic. The Institute of TCM and the program office would organize the written examination and interview. The beginning of the term would be in mid-November and the phase of teaching would formally start
