Recently, Mr. Sato, K. Director of Mejiro University and Chairman of Short-term College Association for Japanese private universities, and his party visited Tongji. Vice-president of Tongji University Yang Dongyuan met Mr. Sato and his party. Both parties held a warm and friendly conversation on how to develop interuniversity cooperation through strengthening cultural exchange. Then Mr. Sato and his party came to School of Foreign languages (SFL) and made a thorough and extensive discussion with the head of SFL on how to deepen cooperation programs between two parities including continuing the cooperation on dispatching students abroad, developing academic exchange and so on. They reached a consensus on cooperation on foreign language teaching between Department of Japanese of SFL and Department of Chinese of MU by mutually dispatching teachers.
