On the 17thquadriennual rotating conference of International Association for Bridge and Structural Engineering (IABSE) which just closed, the IASBE conferred the Anton Tedesko Award to Professor Xiang Haifan from Tongji University, vice-chairman of IABSE, in order to commend his outstanding contribution to the field of Structural engineering and talent training. It is the first time for Chinese scholars to win this laurel.
