On the morning of July 2nd,Tongji-PTC MOU of Educationsigning ceremony was held at Yifu Building.
Before the ceremony, the University Executive Vice-President Li Yongsheng met the visiting PTC delegacy. They discussed how to intensify the cooperation between the two parties and jointly cultivate the engineering talents. During the meeting, Mr. John Stuart, Senior Vice President of PTC expressed that China's manufacturing business demonstrated the unprecedented developing vigor and increasing trend and was in the period of transition frommade in Chinatocreate in China. PTC was glad to sign the cooperative agreement and establish the cooperative relationship to jointly cultivate innovative talents. Li Yongsheng expressed his thanks about signing the MOU, donating 500 Pro/ENGINEER、Winchill、Mathcad software to meet the needs of the teaching work of the whole university. Meanwhile, he hoped that Tongji would increase the contract, intensify the cooperation and combine production, education and research to provide more advanced design and manufacture platform and cultivate more innovative engineering talents, which meet the needs of modern enterprises.
After the meeting, Mr. John Stuart and Prof. Yu Zhuoping, the President Assistant of the University signed the MOU on behalf of the two parties. LI Yongsheng addressed at the signing ceremony. Principals and professors of College of Mechanical Engineering, Software College,Collegeof Electrical and Information Engineering, Department of Sciences, Information Center, Equipment Department and Foreign Affairs Office attend the ceremony.
