Recently, the University Vice-President Li Guoqing met the visiting Mr. Adolfo Guzzini, the Global President of Italian IGUZZINI Lighting Co. Ltd.

Li Guoqing introduced the cooperation with Italy Tongji had conducted and the construction of Sino-Italian College to the guests. He wished that IGUZZINI would join the Strategic Advisory Committee of Sino-Italian College. The cooperation between IGUZZINI and Tongji dated back years ago, and IGUZZINI donated the indoor lighting equipments for Wenyuan Building of Tongji at the University Centennial Anniversary and cooperated with College of Architecture and Urban Planning in the field of illuminating engineering. Mr. Guzzini expressed his wishes to increase the cooperation with our university on illuminating designing, engineering and energy-saving illumination system and jointly hold training classes and students’ practice bases to develop the cooperative scientific research.
