On June 20^th, Australian Queensland University of Technology delegation led by the university President Prof. Peter Coaldrake visited Tongji University accompanied by the Vice-President Scott Sheppard and Prof. Simon Kaplan, Dean of College Of Information Technology, QUT. Prof. Zheng Huiqiang, Vice-President of Tongji University met the guests at Xuri Building.

During the meeting, the two parties reviewed the exchange situations between the two universities in recent years. Prof. Peter Coaldrake hoped to sign the cooperative agreement again with our university through this visiting. Zheng Huiqiang agreed with this proposal and wished to further promote the exchange and cooperation between the two universities especially on cooperative scientific research. Later, the two sides exchanged views about the cooperation in the fields of life science, architecture and urban planning and software, etc.
