From May 23^rdto June 8^th, Chinese Ministry of Culture and Musical Center of Italian Rome held a China Art Festival in Rome.Previous and Present LivesandDrifting Message Board in the Fairyland–works byTongji International Media Art Center received high praise from the Italian audience.

China Art Festival was so far the largest China cultural activity held in Italy. 17 groups nationwide attended the festival including 4 from Shanghai. They were the crew ofPoet Li Baifrom Shanghai Opera House, the crew ofSalty Flavor of Cappuccinofrom Shanghai Dramatic Arts Center, folk music performance of Shanghai Music Conservatory and artistic works of Tongji International Media Art Center.

One of the participating works-Previous and Present Liveswas a image work directed and performed by Prof. Wang Xiaohui, the director of Tongji International Media Art Center. The other wasDrifting Message Board in the Fairyland.
