On June 1st, the 3rd2008HachGraduate Students Environmental Forum in Shanghai was held in College of Environmental Science, Tongji University. Graduate students majoring in Environmental Science from universities in Shanghai gathered and discussed the new trends and developments in the field of environmental protection. Ma Jinming, the Vice-Secretary of University Party Committee and Huang Jiye, the senior sales director of Hach Company in China addressed at the seminar and presented the awards for distinguished paper prize-winners.
In the forum, the jury awarded one special prize, three first prizes and six second prizes. Zhang Chao, a PhD candidate from College of Environmental Science, Tongji University won the special prize. Liu Jia, Li Lei from Tongji and Huang Li from Fudan University won the first prize.
In the afternoon, US Hach Company, the sponsor of this forum made a technical lecture about water quality analysis and monitoring which introduced water quality analysis and monitoring instruments of wide varieties produced by Hach.
