Amine Khene the Administrative Assistant Director-General of UNESCO Visited Tongji

Recently, the University executive vice-president Li Yongsheng met Mr. Amine Khene, the Administrative Assistant Director-General of UNESCO at Wenyuan Building. Mr. Amine Khene firstly expressed his concern towards the Sichuan earthquake and highly praised the rapid, timely and effective rescue operations Chinese government at all levels and army had made. Li Yongsheng introduced the contributions each discipline of our university had done for the disaster relief. He emphasized the education ideas of Tongji and ideas and endeavors in the fields of cultural heritage protection and environment protection.

After the meeting, Mr. Amine Khene made a theme speech titledthe Cooperation between China and UNESCO.
