On April 23^rd, professors of Tongji University attended theInternational Sustainable Campus NetworkConferencein Switzerland upon invitation. Tan Hongwei, professor in College of Mechanical Engineering, Tongji and deputy director of Building Energy Saving Center gave a special report titled Building a Resource-Efficient Campus. Our experiences in Resource-Efficient Campus building attracted the intention of the conference. This institution will invite our university to participate in some related works for theInternational Sustainable Campus Networkincluding the organization and standard formulation. More than 70 persons from 30 prestigious universities and research institutions attended the conference including ETH Zürich, KTH-the Royal Institute of Technology, Harvard University, Massachusetts Institute of Technology, University of Tokyo, National University of Singapore, University of Hong Kong and Tongji University. Tongji was the only one came from Mainland China.

Before the conference, the subject website for Resource-Efficient Campus building of Tongji University was opened and impressed the attendants.
