From April 7thto 9th, the assessing committee organized by AQAS conducted a field survey of school-running qualifications and qualities of undergraduate majors: automobile service engineering, mechanical and electrical engineering and intelligent building facilities technology of Sino-German Engineering College, Tongji University.
Through visiting, observation and meeting the university leaders, teachers and students; the assessing panel highly praised and unanimously approved the Sino-German Engineering College after assessing curriculum designing, laboratory operation, professional knowledge and language teaching, students work, administrative group cooperation, etc.
Ms. Doris Herrmann, principal of ASAQ expressed that the assessing experts always evaluate things with a criticized view. Sino-German Engineering College of Tongji was unprecedented in receiving unanimous praise of all the experts.
Sino-German Engineering College began to recruit students majoring in automobile service engineering, mechanical and electrical engineering and intelligent building facilities technology in September 2004. According to the cultivation outline agreed by Chinese and German parties, after 3 years’ study in China, the students went to study in German cooperative universities for 1 year. Sino-German Engineering College passing the German School-Running Authentication means that the graduates would obtain combined bachelor’s degrees without any other authorization process.
