On March 22th, Mr. Karl-Schlecht, the honorary professor of the University and president of Putzmeister Corporation gave a lecture named “Win the Future” in Vocational and Technical Education College upon invitation. The lecture was divided into four parts, namely 50 Years’ History of PM Corp towards Success, Management Philosophy of PM Corp, “Invisible Champion” View of Talents and Distinct Methods of Developing Human Resource. Mr. Karl-Schlecht’s witty language and passionate speech won huge and constant applause from the audience. Many students expressed that they benefited a lot from the lecture and expected his next speech.

Mr. Karl-Schlecht, the founder of Putzmeister Corporation was conferred honorary professor of Tongji University in 2006. In 1998 he donated 99 percent of the company stock to the KSG charity foundation and subsidized the research, education and training programs in the industrial field. The cooperation between Putzmeister Corporation and our university has been kept for a long time. Since 1997 PM Corporation has developed cooperation with Vocational and Technical Education College of our university on many aspects including training, practical research etc.
