Design works of students in Sino-German College of Engineering of the University won the Phoenix Innovative quarter-final. Recently related students have gone to Germany to participate in the final.

At the beginning of July, the “science and technology innovation group” consisting of three students of 2005 Grade majoring in intelligent building technique submitted the self-designed proposal of “Automatic Drying System” to Germany Phoenix Group Corp. after fierce competition, this proposal entered the final successfully. Meanwhile, this design received a patronage worthing 300 euro from the Phoenix Group Corp. In November of the same year, the group began to make the exact model under the guidance of Prof. Huang Zhizhong, and have accomplished it in February 2008. Recently this proposal showed itself again from nearly one hundred of entry works. The group members have gone to Germany to participate in the final with VCR of the work.
