On March 18th, President Assistant Ding Jiemin met the delegation of Denmark World Expo Secretariat consisted of 26 members at Yifu Building. These members were architects from 8 top-grade Denmark architecture studios. They will participate in the planning and construction bit item of 2010 Denmark World Exposition hall.
During the meeting, Ding Jiemin introduced the basic situation of the Architecture Design and Research Institute of our university, especially the designing items that were participating and will participate in the World Expo. The Danish architects were interested in the specific part we played in the World Expo. They communicated with experts and professors of Architecture Design and Research Institute on the issues of basic situation of the Institute, the cultivation of the students majoring in architecture and the specific work the University did for the architectural design and planning items of World Expo.
After the meeting, the delegacy visited the Architecture Design and Research Institute and The College of Architecture and Urban Planning of our university.
