On Dec. 3rd, San Francisco Bay Area delegation visited the University. Mr. Yan Shunjun, Vice Director of Shanghai Environmental Protection Bureau, Ms. Zong Ming, Yangpu District Mayor, Mr. Zhuang Shaoqin, Deputy Yang Pu District Mayor, Ms. Chen Liling, Vice Director of NPC of Yang Pu District participated in the forum. The theme of the forum is the relationship between risk investment and scientific and technological innovation and the ecological environment. Prof. Zhao Jianfu, Vice President of the University hosted the forum.
At the forum, Mr. Yan Shunjun introduced the planning and progress of environmental protection of Shanghai, Prof. Zhouqi, Dean of School of Environmental Science and Engineering introduced the R&D of environmental protection, and then Mr. Zhuang Shaoqin presented relevant plans to attract and develop the environmental protection industry. Senior officials of San Francisco U.S. Phil Ting and the Garrewel Risk cooperation company founders Mart Bailey made a speech as well.
Accompanied by the leaders of School of Environmental Science and Engineering, all the guests visited the Key Laboratory of Yangtze Water Environment of the State Ministry of Education and the State Key Laboratory of Pollution Control and Resource Reuse.
