On Nov. 21st, the Research Group led by Prof. Ma Zaitian, academician of CAS and professor of School of Ocean and Earth Science (SOES) in Tongji University signed a formal contract with the China Petrochemical Corporation, whose fee for scientific research reached 48 million RMB. By now, less than five months from July, the School has been officially signed and approved four major projects of research tasks, including a “973 project”, a key “863 project”, 2 petrochemical commissioned projects. Every single contract funding reaches more than 26 million RMB, total research funding more than 130 million RMB.
Another three projects are the followings: a “973 project” under direction of chief scientist Jian Zhimin, a national key “863 project” in the charge of associate Professor Bang Xiaotong, a petrochemical major research project presided by Prof. Zhou Zuyi.
