The 7th international ethnic Chinese people transportation seminar, co-undertaken by Tongji University, NACOTA, and Shanghai Road Association, was held on Jiading campus, Tongji University. Experts from USA, Japan, Australia, Holland and universities all over China are involved in the discussion. The vice-president Yang Dongyuan and Li Guoqiang attended the conference.

The two-day seminar covered three themes: construction of transportation infrastructure, transportation planning, operation and management of transportation on issues like currency and future of China transportation system, priority policy of public transportation, integrated transportation information system and so on.
