The project work in which our university participated won a valuable prize in architecture field -“Gold Lion” in 2006 Venice Architecture Biennale. Jan 16th, Denmark copartner visited Tong Ji to discuss further corporation in the future.

Tong Ji University, Chong Qing University, Xi’an University of Architecture and Technology and four architecture firms in Denmark collaborated on the project “Cities Sustainable Development in China” which started in March, 2006 and ended in august. The project pursued the city development and methodology in sustainable development in Beijing, Shanghai, Chongqing and Xi’an.

Teaching stuff and students in Tong Ji collaborated with Denmark copartner on “Shanghai Suburbanization City”. This project focused on strategy of depopulating in downtown and designed a “super natural”and “super urban” district at a distance of 30 kilometers from shanghai downtown area.
