On the afternoon of October 17th, Mr. Harro von Senger,Swiss sinologist and professor from Freiberg University, paid a visit to Tongji’s International School and made lectures. As the master of western brainpower, Prof. Senger annotates systematically and profoundly the Thirty-Six Stratagems in his work “Stratagems”, exhibiting an unique perspective of a western scholar. The book has been translated into English, French, Portuguese, and Spanish. The Chinese version translated by Prof. Yuan Zhiying is also published by Shanghai People’s Press. During his lectures, Prof. Senger introduced the origin and main content of the book, as well as held heated communication and discussion with Tongji’s teachers and students from International School and Department of Liberal Arts.
