The fourth XGR (Extreme Gravity Racing) will be started in August in America. Zhang Zheng and Yang Zhengyuan from Tongji College of Automobile Engineering will take part in the racing competition on the part of China. It is the first time for Chinese candidates to participate XGR.

Funded by Kingston Technology, the world famous memory manufacturer, Zhang and Yang have fully got down into the R&D of power-free concept automobile. Their self-developed autos will first appear in the contest.

It is said that XGR is a kind of contest depending on cars’ gravity, starting from a mountain peak usually and sling to the destiny with the help of gravity. Final result is judged by time used to cover the total racing path. Since its foundation in 2000, XGR has attracted world-renowned auto manufacturer like Volvo.
