Vice President of UC-Davis Visited Tongji

Accompanied by Geng Xu, director of UC-Davis center in China, Mr. Lacy, vice president of UC-Davis visited Tongji on March 6th. Li Yongsheng, Tongji standing vice president, principles from College of Automotive Engineering, College of Environmental Engineering, and College of Medical and Life Science Engineering, held talks with visitors.

Tongji and UC-Davis are both members of “China-California University 10+10 Joint Research Union” set up in October last year in Beijing. UC-Davis boasts off its advantages in medicine and biology and shows interest in cooperation with Tongji in medicine and resource-recycling. The tow parts exchanged views on disciplinary information to further collaboration. It is said that Tongji will send its delegation to visit part of UC group members later this year.
