On January 12th, Dr. Wucherer, member of the executive committee of Siemens Stock Company and president of Siemens Asia-Pacific paid a visit to Tongji. President Wan Gang met the delegation and held talks on China-Deutsch Friendship Hospital program, automobile program and Expo program.

German delegates include Dr. Hausmann, president and CEO of Siemens China Co., Ltd, Dr. Oberg, vice president of Siemens, Feinberg, vice president of Siemens China and president of Health Care Segment, as well as senior vice president of Siemens China and general manager in Shanghai. Attendants from Tongji include Dong Qi, president assistant and director of Foreign Affairs Office, Wu Zhiqiang, dean of College of Architecture and Urban Planning, Yu Zhuoping, dean of College of Automotive Engineering, Zhao Xudong, team leader of the preparation team for China-Deutsch Friendship Hospital.

Dr. Wucherer also went sightseeing of the College of Architecture and Urban Planning and the main campus of Tongji.
