At 10 a.m. today (October 16), the 20th CPC National Congress opens in the Great Hall of the People in Beijing. CPC party members, teachers, and students organize to listen to the opening session of the Congress and the report delivered by General Secretary XI Jinping in the 129 Auditorium, and in over 40 party-building activity centers for party branches and student communities. Some teachers and students on exchange programs overseas witness the great historic time in front of the computer screen, regardless of the time difference.
