Step 1: Apply online

1. Complete the online application procedure at the website www.study-shanghai.org and print a hard copy of the Application Form for the Shanghai Government Scholarship.

2. Visit the website http://study-info.tongji.edu.cn and click“Shanghai Government Scholarship” in the module“Application”. Complete the online application.

Step 2:Pay application fee

Pay the application fee by bank transfer and submit a photocopy of the transfer voucher together with other documents.

Step 3: Submit application documents

Applicants can either submit the application documents in person or send them to the International Student Office of Tongji University by post (See the address in item VIII. The envelope should read“application for scholarships 2019”).

Application documents should be received by 10th April. No application will be accepted after the deadline. All the application documents required are as follows:

1. Application Form for Shanghai Government Scholarship in two originals, each of which attached with one passport photo.

2. For other materials required, please refer to the section “Application Materials.”
